Coinbase Wrapped Staked ETH (cbETH) is a tradeable utility token symbolizing staked Ethereum 2 (ETH2) via Coinbase. It enables customers to convert their committed staked ETH into a flexible asset which can be traded, transferred on-chain, and used in decentralized finance (DeFi) and various decentralized applications (DApps). As a liquid staking token, cbETH offers staking rewards without the restrictions of lockups or unbonding periods.
You can view, swap, send and receive cbETH tokens directly from your MEW Wallet. To receive your cbETH tokens you can send them to your public wallet address. You can then view them in your MEW Wallet by selecting your wallet and selecting the token from the tokens list. You should see the cbETH token information page. You can send your cbETH tokens in your MEW Wallet by clicking the ‘Send’ button and entering the recipient’s wallet address. To swap your cbETH tokens, you can click the ‘Swap’ button and choose which tokens you want to swap to. However, if the ‘Swap’ button is not active you will need to use a DEX to swap your tokens.
