PolkaBridge is a decentralized cross-chain protocol, essentially a digital bridge, connecting the Polkadot blockchain with other types of blockchains, while integrating additional DeFi (Decentralized Finance) features to supplement its bridging functions. Currently, it operates on the Ethereum blockchain, but has plans to switch to Polkadot while keeping prospects of supporting other chains in the future. Its native token, PBR, facilitates transactions, staking, rewards, and participation in initial project offerings, as well as acting as the base asset for cross-chain swaps and for lending activities. PolkaBridge' also offers PolkaBridge Farming, a unique deflationary farming system that rewards stakers through transaction fees instead of minting new tokens. Additionally, there's the PolkaBridge Launchpad, an Initial Decentralized Offering (IDO) platform that assists promising projects and gives PBR holders an opportunity to earn rewards at early stages.
You can view, swap, send and receive PBR tokens directly from your MEW Wallet. To receive your PBR tokens you can send them to your public wallet address. You can then view them in your MEW Wallet by selecting your wallet and selecting the token from the tokens list. You should see the PBR token information page. You can send your PBR tokens in your MEW Wallet by clicking the ‘Send’ button and entering the recipient’s wallet address. To swap your PBR tokens, you can click the ‘Swap’ button and choose which tokens you want to swap to. However, if the ‘Swap’ button is not active you will need to use a DEX to swap your tokens.
